In 2013 Sandy Hall and Kerri Gibbs formed KISS Horsecare. With a focus on body work and hoof care, the desire was to keep things simple and reliable (and possibly find an escape from the corporate worlds they had been used to). Roll on five years and the desk jobs are long forgotten! KISS’s focus has expanded to include additional products and services that further support a broader approach.
Both Sandy and Kerri are currently undertaking studies in equine nutrition (NRC Plus) with Dr Eleanor Kellon.
“Our biggest teachers have been our own horses and experiences. We practice what we preach and can give first-hand knowledge on what we have found works.”
Sandy is a qualified Certificate 3 Hoof Care practitioner (ACEHP) and Equine Sports Massage therapist with experience in tissue mobilisation techniques. Sandy has a passion for the Australian Waler and can often be seen participating with the Bunbury Light Horse Troop at parades and memorial services throughout Western Australia. Keep an eye out for her home-bred Walers!
Kerri has qualifications in Equine Sports Massage, Tissue Mobilisation and Equi-Taping, also having participated in further studies of the Masterson Method amongst other modalities. At any time you might find Kerri and her part-welsh pony, Magic, at an endurance ride, a campdraft clinic, show jumping, ‘dressaging’ or enjoying the newer discipline of Working Equitation – being a true allrounder is what they do best!
